Health Benefits of MicroGreens

The Benefits of MicroGreens
MicroGreens are grown to a stage of development in between a sprout and a baby green. They contain the dense nutritional value of a sprout topped off with an extra kiss of life sustaining chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been called “nature’s greatest healer”. It is the first product of light, therefore contains more healing properties than any other element.
Since our MicroGreens are grown with plenty of airflow and UV light their natural defenses are strong. Our MicroGreens are grown with plant based compost mixtures made right on our farm!
Got H.O.P.E? Hormones, Oxygen, Phytonutrients and Enzymes are the most delicate and beneficial nutrients you can consume. They are abundantly found in MicroGreens and are what you require to “feel good”.
Sunflower Greens are a complete protein – containing as much protein as chicken. They are a rich source of chlorophyll, vitamins A, B complex, D, E and minerals including calcium, phosphorus, and zinc. In addition to this, Sunflower Greens are a rich source of lecithin which helps break down fatty acids into an easily digestible water soluble form. They contain high amounts of chlorophyll which benefits many essential functions within the body, including building blood supply, revitalizing tissue, calming inflammation, activating enzymes and deodorizing the body. Sunflower Greens are not only good for you, but they taste delicious as well! They are known for their delicate, crisp nutty flavor – perfect in salads, sandwiches, wraps or on their own for a quick snack.
Pea Shoots are a delicious, nutritious fresh green packed with seven times more Vitamin C than blueberries, eight times more folic acid than bean sprouts, four times more Vitamin A than tomatoes, and contain extraordinarily high levels of supreme quality, easily digestible protein. Pea Shoots also contain a surplus of life building chlorophyll. For an extra energy boost, add Pea Shoots to salads, sandwiches or wraps – their flavor is similar to that of sweet peas.
Wheat Grass contains over 92 minerals – every mineral your body needs to function at optimal levels. One ounce of Wheat Grass juice represents as much nutritional value as approximately 2.5 pounds of fresh green vegetables. Wheat Grass has a long history as a blood cleanser - it purifies, and feeds the body by activating the white blood cells, which boost the body’s immune system. When taken in juice form Wheat Grass can protect us from carcinogens and destroy free radicals that may lead to degeneration of the immune system. Wheat Grass juice is also tremendously beneficial for people who need to lose weight or cleanse their bodies.
Summed up, MicroGreens are a powerhouse of nutrition – considered to be one of the most perfect foods known to humankind.
Eat more MicroGreens and find out for yourself how great they are!
